August in South East Michigan is the classic time and place to share the American experience of cruisin’ and showing off your treasured special vehicle or motorcycle! And the 2008 Detroit Festival of Speed and Style will again be an enjoyable event for connoisseurs of classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, modified hot rods, motorcycles, art and style.

This 4 day event at Campus Martius Park in Detroit, Michigan is a new concept of car show. Marrying the excitement and speed of car cruises and races with the style and sophistication of a Concours d’Elegance, the Detroit Festival of Speed and Style celebrates the automobile and its historical contribution in an attractive and inclusive weekend show – with no admission charge.

Staged at Detroit’s remarkable Campus Martius Park and adjacent Cadillac Square, the Detroit Festival of Speed and Style presents cars and motorcycles in an urban setting, along with a driving tour that takes participants through the scenic Detroit River front community to the Belle Isle Grand Prix Race Track

The 2007 Detroit Festival of Speed and Style re-introduced the Motor City to automobile enthusiasts from across the region and is helping to reestablish Detroit as the automotive capital of the world.

2008 Motorcycle Entry Application

The 2008 Biker's Ride and Style Charity Motorcycle Ride will be held August 10, 2008 in Memory of Don Bouchard (1950 - 2008)

• Bikers Ride and Style is a one day 30 mile star studded charity motorcycle ride to be held in Wayne and Oakland County Michigan on Sunday, August 10, 2008. We plan for this annual event to be the "The Largest One-Day Motorcycle Fund-Raising Event in Michigan.
• Hundred’s of Motorcycle riders and enthusiasts will gather on the morning of August 10, 2008 at the Pontiac Silverdome to begin the escorted 30 mile ride south on historic Woodward Avenue in Oakland County to Campus Martius Park in Detroit to join the Detroit Festival of Speed and Style.
• This star studded moving motorcycle caravan, culminates in a public concert and barbecue at the Michigan State Fair grounds.
